These ice packs are the perfect size! I recently had a Breast Augmentation, these were a true life saver for the smaller more oddly positioned pain points. I will continue usuing even after I am fully recovered. I can see a use for them for almost any injury placement. I love the fact that they have a light fabric backing to assist with contact so you don’t get frost bite. Would totally recommend!

Small in size, so easy to use in various areas and keep in freezer. Fabric material on back helps from being burned, if you don't have a paper towel or cloth on hand immediately. Keeps cold/cool for a decent amount of time, given it's small size. Even after frozen, just massage for a few seconds and it is soft gel again that forms easily around whatever it needs to

I ordered these for some relief from the aches of breastfeeding. I use them mostly frozen but have also tried them warmed up. They work really well either way; I love the versatility. The size is also perfect to pop inside my bra. The only thing I don't like is that there are only 5 instead of 6. I always use them in pairs and sometimes rotate through them before one set is fully frozen again. Having three pairs instead of just two pairs would be helpful.

For what these are I absolutely rate these as 5 Stars. I've had two very serious injuries that have left me with lots of pain. However, what I use them most for has nothing to do with pain, unless I have a headache. I have congestion problems at night ... and I also have sleep apnea. If I can get my head open and get my mask on then I'm okay because the rush of air keeps my passage ways open. I'm not sure why!?! However, there are times I cannot breath through my nose and I absolutely will not use decongestants. Having lived in a cold climate for a number of years I learned that when I was congested that usually all I had to do was go outside to clear my head. And, if it's hot I've found that sticking my head in the freezer can sometime help. But that is not always easy ... or convenient. Then I found these little ice packs. All I have to do is put the gel pack between my forehead and my sleep apnea mask... with the fabric side towards my forehead. If the gel pack is frozen I place a paper towel against my skin to protect it. However, I keep some of these in the refrigerator ... so if they are not frozen I can place them directly against my skin. So, these have been very helpful in opening up my congested head and keeping me off of decongestants. .......... The other thing I like them for is to use them in conjunction with a flexible ice pack. Alone, these ice packs do not stay cold very long. But if you freeze them and then place them between your body and a larger ice pack ... right up to the sorest part an injury ... it conforms exactly to the body, even if it is near/around the bone. They stay cold much longer and in my opinion helps the swelling go down faster. They are also nice to place between a bra strap and my shoulder. They can be used in any number of ways ... anywhere you have pain.

These are great and inexpensive. It's nice to have many because you can take them to work, keep some at home, and rotate them when using. I have a broken metatarsal so I had to ice just one area about the size of this packet. They can also be warmed. When my one dog got an abscess (of course she went to the vet for medication), I warmed these 10 sec at a time x 3 and placed it over the site and within 24 hours it drained entirely. I still used covers with these even though they have cloth backing to prevent any skin damage.

We had these in our freezer for months and only recently needed them when my 3-year old bumped her head during a fall. They are the perfect size and were lightweight, easy to handle, flexible and appealing for my little one to not only hold but to keep on her head for several minutes at a time. (We prevented the bump from getting large because we got one on the spot immediately and a bruise formed days later.) These are a must for any parent with young children! They are also easy to store and not too large to take up too much space even in a small freezer. I highly recommend these ice packs!

I suffer from chronic cervical spine pain and also have constant pain in my shoulders. These small round ice packs or so convenient to place on the back of your neck or anywhere for that matter. They stay cold and frozen for much longer than what she would think. These have actually come quite handy for my children who hurt themselves. They immediately say that they need an ice pack and go grab one round ice pack and place it on their ankle or foot where they hurt themselves. Definitely great value for this product.

These are awesome! They're more malleable than other ice packs I've had, while still being super cold. One side has a thicker woven fabric on it which is nice. The small size is good for getting to acute sites of pain. I've used them on my jaw for TMJ pain, as well as on my back, etc. I would highly recommend these. And, having the pack of so many of them is great for rotating through them so you always have a cold one.

I ordered these gel cold packs to use on my face after my wisdom tooth extraction. I did have swelling and these were great at reducing the swelling. My dentist said 15 minutes on and 15 minutes off and repeat. I had them in the freezer, so I could rotate them. I liked that they have a cloth side which I could put next to my face. They were the perfect size. They would be good to use on children too.

These are great. You put them in the freezer and the gel gets really cold but doesn't freeze. I use them to put in the bottom of my baby bottle cooler and they keep them pretty cold. One side is gel/plastic and the other is cloth. When I had first started breastfeeding I also used these in my bra (cloth side) to help with tenderness and they were amazing! I preferred to keep them in the refrigerator when using for tenderness since they got so cold in the freezer. Straight out of the refrigerator, they stay cold around 20 minutes against body heat, but I found that long enough to ease tenderness just after breastfeeding or pumping. Like another reviewer mentioned though, I wish they were sold in even numbers! I always had that odd one out sitting in the freezer not being used.
